Sterling, in joint venture with Hines, coordinated the planning, site acquisition and construction of 383 Madison Avenue for Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and completed in 2002, the 1,200,000 square foot, 43-story office building is clad in granite panels and glass and features a dramatic 70-foot glass crown that illuminates at night.
