Bio Medical Research Lab

Built as a research and development facility for Seattle based PathoGenesis Corporation (later acquired by Chiron Corp.), this "BL-3" level bio-tech lab, was the venue for the development of drug treatments for serious human infectious diseases. Research and testing focus was on chronic lung infections in cystic fibrosis, tuberculosis, AIDS and multiple sclerosis. The project included the design and construction of intricate HVAC and waste management systems while also providing an efficient and interactive work environment.
